The One Year Bible

I cannot stay away from the truth and it may be better for you that I am no longer on film regularly to talk about God and the truth. Even when I look at my videos, I replay them just to pay attention to what I’m actually saying; when a mirror is given to a narcissistic bird it will make her fall in love with herself. So, here we write on God’s words this morning, rather than attract.

Long ago, I found an awesome little Bible app for the iPhone by YouVersion in which I enjoyed the “Plans” section that helps interested people like us to read through the Holy Bible. I successfully completed the “Working Through Failure” Plan, which I highly recommend to anyone who’s been through a rough patch in life. I loved its week long approach and light reading. From this precise reading arrangement I yoked a lot of validation and healing from the Holy Bible. God’s word pushed my heart into a healthier sun-shinier place than the crevice I’d cried open. Yes, I felt as though I was ready for more so I signed up for “The One Year ®️Bible” plan straightaway. I had no specific desire to read through the Bible with that plan other than to say, “Yup, I’ve done that. Read that. Check.” My heart simply wasn’t in it and my app got rusty for lack of use.

and let the discerning get guidance – for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise.

Proverbs 1:6

Now, however, with the end of the DPconversations videos and the Cover to Cover series which ended up looping back into the videos I had released previously (publicized from private view recently), I’m now interested in completing the year long Bible. It brings me joy to relate to God’s word, so completely, and I just can’t let it go. I must have it! So, since the impending call of faith will blister my heart if it has no avenue of release, I type and let it be known that I love the LORD.

Amen. Aju.

Let’s look at what the plan covered Today:

Genesis 1
Genesis 2
Matthew 1
Matthew 2
Psalms 1:1-6
Proverbs 1:1-6

If you read these passages Today, you and I will have covered Day 1 of the reading plan together. I read them and wrote down some notes on passages that jumped out to me from the reading…whatever most caught my heartstrings or my curiosity. I love God so much and I hope that you do too. Like a light, magic phenomenon, pretty and valuable gems, the Proverbs draw us close to the body of God, namely Jesus, and True Parents.

Dear Readers,

It’s been some time since I dropped a poem here on DPconversations.com. I hope you enjoyed “You & I”. I am currently waiting for the video to upload to youtube.com/DPconversations and that has given me a little time to give you a little love-nudge in the right direction. How are you all doing? I have missed you.

Recently, I have committed my little chubby body to sit down every Saturday so that I may dig up a golden conversation with you on the Holy Bible and the Holy Word of the Completed Testament of God Sun Myung Moon at the Second Coming of Jesus via my youtube channel called DPconversations. Click here to see my channel. Whew! That was a mouthful.

Finally, I have a regular routine down with the truth again so I can relax a little and share a colloquial article with you rather than just straight notes. Today’s discussion of the Divine Principle healed me a little and I hope it heals you too. We all need healing, don’t deny it. For instance, did you know that the force of power is not just in love but also in principle and that these are two distinct kinds of power? Yet, freedom does not come without the principle of creation centered on God simply because it is intrinsically tied to our existence that we have freedom! I discuss this in Today’s video, which, is 35 minutes long…but give it a try. I know I’m not alone by myself talking to the wall when you are on the other side of all this.

If you like what you see and hear and read then my effort has not been in vain. Let me know that you appreciate my work in a small way…and I will be back again next Saturday. I will announce the upcoming video next Friday evening on Twitter. My twitter is @somiyachapman. “6. Cover to Cover | DPconversations” video will cover the content of our beloved Divine Principle from page seventy-six to page eighty-eight. Have a Blessed day.

Sincerely with Love,

Somiya

You and I

Picture from underneath my baby red-maple tree!

Finally, the soil supports creation under my love

It’s not under scorn-love besides the midst of evil

Creation rejoices with the children of God.

In slow ways and in patience we call our wins.

I see God’s stakes and I have not forsaken him.

Do you see him too?

Then we are the same, you and I.

You and I forever. You and I.

“White Privilege”

“White privilege is an acknowledgment of class division among a free American people.“

Dear Readers,

Lately, there is a saying called “white privilege” in America. It is used to denote the economic and social advantage some people have against others just because they are white and can get away with mostly anything.

Actually, white privilege is something of a neo-nazi term that can be used either degradingly toward or as a self concession of white people to have unfair access to opportunity which would otherwise be closed to those of any other race. White privilege is an acknowledgment of class division among a free American people. Yet we are all created equal in the eyes of God and this perfect love is recognized in our laws.

In my effort to linguistically understand the term “white privilege” I have also used the term “White Privilege”, as most Americans have by now. We must realize that the more we use this term “white privilege” the closer we come to arriving at a dangerous cast system of a Hindi nature. Slavery is over. Please do not use the term “white privilege.”

Sincerely,

Somiya

To Be Grateful!

“Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 97:10

The Bible Promise Book
Gratitude – thankful appreciation for favors received

God is the intangible invisible eternal absolute and unique Heavenly Father who has given us an overabundance of such gifts that resemble Him. We will never see another white rhino because it is specific to its DNA that should not be confused in human laboratories with those of other animals. God has created this unique species which has now, in this century, gone extinct. Perhaps, the DNA of the white rhinoceros may be cloned into regeneration if our scientists can trudge away from their fallen minds when it comes to DNA manipulation/experimentation. We must adhere to God with absolute faith, absolute love, and absolute obedience as you cannot have one characteristic without the other.

Our gratitude to God is for the favors that He has already given. We are not to thank God for the favors which he keeps to Himself! We know Him for His Blessings, do we not? He has given us His love, life, and lineage. If His favor is not found in our lives it is because we have lost them in much the same way as we have lost the precious white rhinoceroses. God’s love has spilled over in our lives and we simply have no consciousness of it.

The water runs over capacity in His Providence of Jesus and True Parents. The structure of full salvation is something to be grateful for and it is much more than our worth. Hence, it is also our humble glory to be able to say that we are “unworthy” of the Lord’s grace as we acknowledge His favor upon us.

Preface. Cover to Cover of the Divine Principle: The Fundamental Cornerstone | DPconversations

Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon with Hyo Won Eu

Cover to Cover

It is my aim to go through the Divine Principle with you from start to finish. This is the first article and video of a new series on DPconversations.com called Cover to Cover. It is important to understand the truth in fullness and I hope that you enjoy exploring the content of this work of Sun Myung Moon with me.

There are many different views that people have expressed about Sun Myung Moon and his life on earth. The fundamental understanding of Sun Myung Moon is the work that he himself did, regardless of what other people have to say about it. The content of the Divine Principle cannot be identified by anyone else as their word. Really, to know a man, the best resource is himself, is it not? To understand Sun Myung Moon and True Parents as established by Jesus at His second coming, we have to first know the Divine Principle.

Please view the video that goes hand in hand with this article. Click the link.

Within the Preface of the Divine Principle we see the great persistence of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon to share the Divine Principle with humanity. It took his entire life to finally canonize an official text that would eventually be included in the eight great texts of the Completed Testament. It is the main text of his teaching.

Scientific studies of Cornelius and Caspi have concluded that the perception of self is more of an external result rather than an intrinsic internal belief of self. The study did not move beyond calculable data but it led to the theoretical understanding that a carpenter is not born a carpenter but is molded to become one by external influences. Likewise, the West Point Military Academy of the United States of America, though it even has an honor code does not mean that all who attend are honorable. Thus, it isn’t always one’s surrounding influences that determine a person’s belief of self. Furthering the idea of self-identification is the practice of yoga, or mind and body unity. Yet mind and body unity without an understanding of the highest mind or cause of energy, is simply impossible.

It is important to study the Divine Principle so that people can come out of ignorance and hopeless dead-ends in order to understand the highest mind: God. Humankind now, through True Parents, have a clear understanding of God that can unite the most internal mind with external scientific study. I will not go into the theoretics with you now. A multitude of science is just waiting to be explored with this truth. Instead, I will show you the rock, the Exposition of the Divine Principle, that the truth exists and that it is available to you.
