My Servant Abraham

Thank you God.

Clean Slate

The Strength of his shoulders as he fights to save a friend
To train and to prepare for the sake of defending the men
To rescue the women from rape and yet take no spoils
This is the last battle of the last war.

Away she flies on His victory and might
Naught but a young woman made real of His word
Something so simple as her servant Abraham
A clean slate to validate her worth.

It’s in these dark days then and now
where faith is proven to have no fear.
Our true friendship of Jesus in God adhered.
God is with us now.

With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, that I will accept nothing belonging to you, not even a thread or the strap of a sandal, so that you will never be able to say, ‘I made Abram rich.’ I will accept nothing but what my men have eaten and the share that belongs to the men who went with me–to Aner, Eshkol and Mamre. Let them have their share.”

Genesis 14:22-24
