Let’s Part Company

Fine Line

The field is green on that side, so you can have it all.
You agree with me, I’m fine. That’s where we’ll draw the line.
A fine line. ‘Cause God has Blessed me. Need not your golden walls.
In different forms of wealth you’ve chosen Lot and line
Since I love you, I have put it to you fairly
Truthfully spoken–as in Genesis thirteen eight.

So Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives. Is not the whole land before you? Let’s part company. If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right; if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left.”

Genesis 13:8 NIV

Lately, on DPconversations.com I have been creating poems out of my thoughts on the verses that I read from the Holy Bible and I find it fun to do. It is how I have written these last three poems as I read through the chapters of Genesis. Do you like my poetry? If so, please let me know!
